Find the census tract for an address.

How it works

The address becomes a point, and the point is tested against 2020 Census geographies from TIGER/Line 2025. You get the full set in one go: state and county FIPS, county subdivision, place, the 11-digit tract GEOID, the 12-digit block group GEOID and the ZCTA.

Notes

• Built for CRA and HMDA reporting, grant applications and any join to American Community Survey tables: the tract GEOID matches the Census API's GEO_ID suffix directly.
